Tudor is Working on New Projects… TIPA to e-Archiving and ISO27001
The TIPA development team at TUDOR is continuously investing to improve the TIPA framework and to maintain the alignment with the state of the art. They are also investing a lot of energy to apply the TIPA framework to other fields of activity. Many of such experimental works are carried out in parallel with the main R&D track (i.e. TIPA for ITIL). Examples of such experimentations have already been mentioned in several articles and cover Project Management, Knowledge Management, Operational Risk Management and Information Security amongst others.
Beside the development of a maturity modes for ISO/IEC 20000-1 (see next article), the TIPA development team is currently capitalizing on previous works and on their experience as members of the ISO working groups on Information Security (ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27 Information Security Techniques). The output of this activity will be a TIPA for ISO/IEC 27001, including a complete toolbox with process models and questionnaires supporting the assessment of information security processes with TIPA.
Information Security being a major part of e-Archiving (or rather say Electronic Records Management), these works will be extended to cover the digitization and preservation processes required to manage electronic records, and so supporting the ISO 30301 standard (Management systems for records).
